Look who's 3

Karter turned 3. Boo Hoo :( He was very excited for his birthday. But he hated to have to stop saying he was 2. I hated for him to have to stop saying it too.

Schools Out!!!

So the school year came and went. The girls both done great this year. They both loved their teachers and hated for the school year to end. Karlee had Ms. Butorac and Aubrie had Mrs. Gonzales. I was very worried about Aubrie having Mrs. Gonzales but it turned out to be the best thing for Aubrie. She was absolutely amazing. I saw Aubrie's confidence grow tremendously this year. By the end of the year she was reading at a 5th grade level. Aubrie received 3 awards at her awards assembly. She received one in reading, spelling, and music.

Karlee is now a Kindergarten graduate. They have a incentive program in Kindergarten. They have a teddy bear that is sent home every day to one of the student homes (gross........he got a bath everytime he came to our house;). His name was Pal Bear. At the end of the year the student with the most honey hives (it's a paper honey hive that gets colored when the student is good) get to keep Pal Bear. All year long we heard how Karlee wanted to get pal bear. And lucky Karlee got to end up being the owner of a very worn Pal Bear. What a happy girl she was :)

Marathon of catch up

So I honestly do not know where the time is going!!!! Summer is here and my poor blog has been pushed to the back burner. So I am going to try and get current so that I can cross it off my list of to do's. So much has happened in the last few months.......I'm glad I took a few pictures along the way because most of it is a blurrrr.

Aubrie turned "8". What the heck.............How could that happen??? She was so excited for her 8th birthday. That is all we have heard about for the past year. She had a Hawaiian birthday party and invited all of her friends to come join the fun. Aubrie has turned into such a big girl. Sometime she can be a big help and sometimes she can have a big attitude. But we are sure glad that she is ours :)

Next up was Aubrie's Baptism. She was bastized on April 30. It was such an exciting day for Aubrie. She had been very concerned about know for sure if getting basptized was the right decision. She prayed about it often and then one day she came to us & told us she had an answer to her pray and she knew it was right. I am so grateful for the good girl she is and the desire she has to do what is right. My whole family came for her baptism which made it even more special for her. She ended up being the only one being baptized that day. So we got to do the whole program. Candace and my Dad said the prayers, Nathan & my Mom talked. Angelo baptized and confirmed her a member of the church. It was an amazing experience for us and I was amazed at the support that we have. The whole room was completely filled with our amazing family and friends. And a great BIG thanks to her amazing Nana for the amazing dress :)
