Lilly Lake

Last weekend Angelo, Nathan, Bart, and a guy that Angelo works with and his friends hiked to Lilly Lake for a fishing trip. Lilly Lake is up Mount Blanca. It was a 3 1/2 mile hike in. I think they had fun. Although I don't think they caught the amount of fish they were hoping for. Nathan was the grand champion with a total of five fish.

The Sand Dunes

On the the 4th of July we took our annual trip to the Sand Dunes. It was later than we usually go and the water was almost gone, but we had fun. The biggest surprise of the day was that my Dad, Bart, and Angelo went. That has never happened before. Usually it is just us women and the kids. We had a fun time. The kids really enjoyed getting wet and dirt. I think the guys did too.

A New Do

Well a couple of weeks ago I persuaded Angelo to allow Karter to get his first REAL haircut. Real meaning a professional doing it rather than me pretending to know what I am doing. Angelo hated for him to get a haircut. I am not sure why. Maybe he thought Karter would lose all of his strength ;). But he finally agreed. Our good friend Jen Dixon done the honors. She done a awesome job on the little wiggle worm. I think the hair cut totally changed the way he looked. It turned him into a little boy instead of a baby.
