What happened in October???

Well October has come and gone. And it ended up being a wild and crazy one. Consider yourself warned, a month of pictures is to follow:

The girls were out of school for fall break at the being of the month so we were able to make it for Nana's big birthday celebration. HAPPY BIRTHDAY NANA!! Hope you had a great one. We Love you!

During our stay, poor Papa got tortured with all of Nana's return address labels. Oh well, It kept them all occupied for 5 minutes. Thanks for being such a great sport Papa!!!!

We tried to grow pumpkins this year, but it didn't work. So we had to take a trip to the pumpkin patch. We went one Saturday night, we had a lot of fun. The girls had a good time trying to find the perfect one. Karter just enjoyed the wagon. We also went to a pumpkin patch in Canon City with Karlee's Pre-K class. but I forgot my camera.
Karlee had crazy hair day at school. Karter wanted in on the picture too. He had pretty crazy hair that morning too.
My Dad had a birthday too! We had planned on going to help him celebrate his 70th BIRTHDAY! But the weather was bad. So in place of his birthday picture you will have to settle for his return address picture :). Hope you had a GREAT Birthday Dad (Papa) we LOVE you!!!
We did the traditional craving pumpkins the night before Halloween. The girls had fun. Aubrie was so proud she created hers without a template. For the make a mess boy, Karter is, I couldn't believe that he hated the pumpkin guts. Aubrie had a good time torturing him by putting it on his hands and letting him try and pick it off.
Karlee was concentrating too hard. Look at the tongue.

Here are the finished products.

Halloween was a crazy day. We went to the park for a carnival put on by the parks and rec dept. The girls had a lot of fun.

After the carnival we came home and tried to take pictures before we headed out to the church trunk or treat. The sun was in every ones eyes and Karter would not cooperate. So this is the best I got. After the trunk or treat we stop at my friend Jackie's house to trick or treat. After that I ask the girls if they were ready to go to more houses. They said that they had enough candy and they were ready to go home. Can you believe that????? That was the best treat I could get!!!
